Motor Freight IRP/Apportioned
If your vehicle travels in Maryland and in other IRP jurisdictions [out-of-state] and is used for the transportation of persons for hire or is designed, used, or maintained primarily for the transportation of property, and
- is a power unit having two axles and a gross vehicle weight in excess of 26,000 pounds; or
- is a power unit having three or more axles, regardless of the weight; or
- is used in combination, when the weight of such combination exceeds 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight.
Two axle vehicles or combinations thereof, having a gross weight of 26,000 pounds or less may be issued apportioned registration at the option of the registrant.
We will assist you with the Schedule A/C, the Schedule B Forms and make the 92-mile round trip to the Glen Burnie MVA for your tags, registration and stickers.
