The application for Special Registration Plates is used to apply for personalized [vanity] plates OR plates for amateur radio registration. The completed for must be mailed to the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration, 6601 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie, MD 21062; Attention: Vehicle Registration along with the appropriate fees.

Personalized registration plates may not contain more than seven (7) letters, numbers and spaces in combination. Motorcycle and Individual with a Disability personalized plates may not contain more than six (6) letters, numbers and spaces in combination. For Amateur Radio Operator registration, place your FCC assigned call letters.
